Known for previous work with bands such as P.S. Eliot and Swearin', Allison Crutchfield has revealed a new solo effort in the shape of 'Dean's Room'. The track, which is taken from a forthcoming Merge Records-released LP Tourist In This Town, revolves around a relentlessly stomping drum beat and a whirring synth line that builds to the catching refrain: "You just wanna catch me alone", Crutchfield cries before a dreamy, noodling guitar lines take over.
